The test stand “TRIBOTEST “PIN-DISK” is designed for testing materials for friction and wear according to the pin-disk and ring-ring kinematic schemes.
The test bench “TRIBOTEST “PIN-DISK” allows you to test friction and wear of polymer materials. A 3-point contact scheme is implemented (3 pins from the material being tested are used in one test). A disc made of ШХ15 is used as a rotating disk. The kit includes equipment for testing according to the kinematic “ring-ring” scheme.
What materials can be tested- The stand is designed for testing polymers, structural materials, coatings for friction and wear.
- The stand is equipped with a climatic chamber, which allows testing in the temperature range from +400 to -80 0 C.
AutomationThe stand is controlled using a touch monitor. The process of starting and stopping the stand is automated. During testing, wear and friction coefficient are recorded. When testing coatings for service life according to the friction coefficient criterion, the stand will automatically stop if the specified maximum value is exceeded.
During testing, friction coefficient data is recorded and written to a file with *.csv or *.xls resolution.
