    INDICATION AND MEASUREMENT

The UNITEST device can be equipped with various easily replaceable load and sensor heads, capable of measuring force in 1-, 2-, 3- and 6-axis modes. Loading elements can be strain gauge, capacitive or piezoelectric.

DUCOM's patented multi-axis load cell provides unparalleled performance in a compact form factor, and the force cell is designed for complete mechanical force separation for high performance.

Each load head comes standard with a 2D force sensor capable of measuring force in the Z and Y axes. Other force measurement modules can be ordered as options.

    • 3D Force Sensor (X,Y,Z Axes)
    • 6D Force sensor (X,Y,Z and θX, θY, θZ axes)
    • Acoustic Emission (AE) Sensor
    • Contact resistance (ECR) sensor

By replacing load heads, the testing and measurement capabilities of UNITEST platforms can range from nano-scale to macro-scale. Our load head options are the patented MicroForce load head for multi-scale testing, DecaForce load head, HectoForce load head and KiloForce load head. Our specially developed BioForce Load Head is also available, designed for biotribological applications.
