The small-sized H 2 S-Analyzer is designed to determine the amount of hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) in bitumen, unrefined crude oil and heavy high-viscosity fuels.

How the system worksThe operating principle of the system is based on the DyMS method. The system consists of one or two sample storage containers and one test container in which the sample is continuously mixed and heated to 200 °C. The sample is pumped into the test container using a high boiling point working fluid and continuously mixed. The hydrogen sulfide is then displaced by the supplied nitrogen through the liquid. Compared to other instruments and methods, the H2S analyzer emphasizes improved mass transfer, which significantly increases the amount of hydrogen sulfide captured.
This system provides the user with highly accurate and reliable experimental data over the entire measurement range. The H2S analyzer provides the ability to examine a wide range of samples with H2S content from 1 to 500 ppm in the liquid phase and up to 1000 ppm in the gaseous phase
The use of inert gas avoids the oxidation of hydrogen sulfide. The hydrogen sulfide concentration is determined using a special H2S capture sensor. Parallel emitted components such as mercaptans and SO2 are recorded simultaneously thanks to the corresponding special sensors.
For a typical experiment, 15 minutes is enough. Experimental data is automatically processed, calculated, saved and printed.
The design of the H2S analyzer makes it possible to simultaneously prepare the sample for a second experiment without interrupting the first experiment. This feature allows you to increase the flexibility of the experimental methodology and its productivity.
